Food Crisis in East Africa – Please Help!

A few years ago I had the chance to be part of a team that developed a series of brochures for World Vision, which were distributed as inserts of major German magazines, such as Stern, Spiegel and Focus. No other work ever made me so happy and I’m proud to know that we contributed to a significant raise in the number of people who signed up as child sponsors.
Through this work I am aware of the privilege I enjoy everyday to go shopping for food in a supermarket and to have fresh and clean water coming out of the tap, which is something that millions of people are literally dying for.
We feel helpless, but there is never too little we can do. Even if we just fight the ignorance. I also believe that food bloggers have a huge potential to influence others to make more sensible choices, reduce waste and increase the overall respect for food.
